And here's the final outcomes from my earlier shoot in the New Forest too!
Although the last few weeks of term were insanely busy with hand ins, I am sooo glad I went ahead and did these shoots anyway as I really enjoyed them and styling is something I definitely want to carry on do as much as I can and work on in the future! If anyone has any tips or advice for me then plleaassee comment :) xxx VJ

Colour Pop!
I actually did this shoot a couple of weeks ago now but I've been so busy with final hand ins at uni that I just haven't had the time to blog at all! Now i'm home for Christmas with a few days to spare before starting back at work so I'm gonna catch up!
This photo shoot was soooo much fun! The idea behind it was mean girls / clueless style clothes, quite cute and preppy but with an added attitude and LOTTSSS of colour! I got to have a little online spending spree and spent a couple of hundred pounds on a whole bunch of cute little skirts and crop tops. We had a bit of a last minute panic when the models dropped out but at the last minute we went from having no models to three! More than we expected, so I had a bit of a panic thinking I didnt have enough, but after raiding my housemates wardrobes we had more than enough and got some really great shots! We also had a bunch of really cool 90's themed props which were a lot of fun in the photos. So here's some behind the scenes shots and a few of the final outcomes...hope you like them =D
Let me know what you think xxx VJ

Christmas Carousel
Christmas is upon us and everywhere is lit up with pretty lights and decorations all around. Unfortunately I am a massive Scrooge and don't get very excited about the Christmas Festivities, I know I know, what a grump, I wish I liked it! HOWEVER...me and my house mates decided to take a little trip down the Christmas Market in Bournemouth Town square before we all went home and something strange came over me. I got strangely excited and giddy by the whole thing! I'm not sure if it was the one glass of wine I had or the fact that I was over exhausted after my final hand in but I was like a small child! So here's a few little photos to capture this rare moment!

Treated ourselves to a little German sausage, had to be done
I got a little bit over excited by the carousel and made my house mate come on with me!
Yes, we were the only two people on it....
And that was our little christmassy adventure x

Clobber
So this time last week me and my house mate / course mate rolled on down to Boscombe to have a day playing in Clobber, a vintage shop full of fantastic little bits and pieces. Our course Tutor had been contacted by the shop owner who asked if any of us Fashion Students would be interested in dressing his windows as he just didn't enjoy doing / didn't really know what he was doing. Obviously there was a fair few of us who jumped at the chance, so every two weeks a few of us are going to go down there to take turns in putting our ideas into the window displays. Me and Robyn (my house mate hadn't really planned ahead and thought about what we were going to do because we just wanted to get in and have a look about to see what we could come up with. We did originally want to do something a little bit crazy and colourful but after meeting the shop owner ( he's a little bit scary) we decided to stick it safe and just go cute and kitsch for this first time. We decided to try and stick loosely to current trends, bringing in key colours and the ever popular Military style! Although we did play it quite safe I was really happy with the final result and so was the shop owner, although he said next time we should definitely just let loose and just go all out. Already looking forward to next time, watch this space for mine and Robyn's outburst, COMING SOON!
