Weekly Wishlist
As much as I love the Summer, I've always been a bigger fan of the Winter Clothes. So although Summer is only just finishing, I'm already looking forward to getting out my chunky knits and boots and getting mega excited over the new Autumn Winter Collections coming into all the shops. These are just a few bits that I'm lusting over and need in my life asap!
What I Bought
Living the student life doesn't give me much spare cash to feed my shopping obsession as much as I would like...BUT I recently got my first pay check from working at River Island and it's safe to say I have gone a little nuts! It wasn't until I got all my new things out to take photos of them for this that I realised just how much new stuff I had bought. Do I feel bad? Not at all, I feel ammazzinng! Shopping makes me so happy, I'm literally like a child in a sweet shop when I have money in my bank account, so here's all the 'sweet' little goodies I got my hands on!
1. Topshop Zip Peplum Top £18 Get it here I wasn't a fan of the peplum when it first came about but they have definitely grown on me! I really wanted a plain black one but didn't want to pay too much for one so when I came across this one in TOPSHOP yesterday I had to have it, student discount meant I got it for even cheaper! BARGAIN
2. River Island Double Heart Ring/Bracelet £4 Get it here Working at River Island means staff discount and it would be rude not to use it right? I saw this ring during one of my shifts and thought it was so cute and a little bit different and for £4 plus my discount it was basically free...kinda
3. River Island Studded shoulder Crop £15 Get it here I have a bit of a thing for studs at the moment so when this top came in with the new stock it caught my eye. I thought it would go really well with the black maxi I purchased on the same day (see below) and also look cute with jeans of denim shorts so had to be done really.
5. River Island Silver Cross Earrings £3 Get them here I'm loving all the cross stuff that's about at the moment so once again, I saw these during one of my shifts and thought ye, I need those.
6. River Island Black Chiffon Maxi Skirt £30 Get it here I love a good maxi skirt as I think they are really versatile. They can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn with a cute vest in the summer and a chunky crop knit in the colder seasons.
7. River Island Beaded Feather crop £15 Get it here Ok, so working in retail is really bad for me because I just spend my shifts walking around the shop picking out things I want. But I thought this crop was really cute and would go really nicely with my new maxi, a pair of gold gladiators and some feather earrings...I didn't take much convincing.
8. Topshop Skeleton Cut out sleeve crop £7 in sale Saw this in the sale and with my new obsession for anything 'skeletony' it caught my eye and for £7 I couldn't really leave it behind could I?
10. Zara Silk Shirt £19.99 So this one wasn't in the sale but the soft, shiny silk called to me... I'm so weak.
12. H&M Orange and Grey Striped Sports Bra £9.99 Get it here I'm on a bit of a mission at the moment to loose some weight and get fit so thought by purchasing a nice sports bra it might make me more motivated...we shall see
13. Superdrug Accessorize Nail Polish in Crystal Shimmer and Love Soft Jade 2 for £5 Get it here I have wanted to try out some of the Accessorize make up brand for a while, drawn to it mostly by the super cute packaging, so thought I'd start with some nail varnish as you can never have to much of that. I'm still a big fan of mint green even if summer is pretty much over and anything sparkly makes me happy. (I will do a review of these soon)

MaxFactor Review
A couple of months ago I got really fed up with my make up not staying fresh and intact throughout the day. I was using Rimmel Stay Matte foundation and powder and don't get me wrong it was doing the job, but just wasn't 'wowing' me. I don't usually like to spend a lot on make-up (mostly because I'm on a student budget) and I have annoyingly sensitive skin so have to be pretty careful with what I use. I had heard that Max Factor foundation was pretty good so went for the Lasting Performance foundation and Creme Puff Powder. After using it for the first time I was converted. It was so smooth and easy to apply and had such good coverage. It gave almost an airbrushed effect and I found that I could go all day without feeling the need to reapply which I usually have a terrible habit of. I got multiple compliments on how great my skin looked which was the cherry on top of the cake and I haven't turned back since! There probably is better products out there but on my student budget I think these products are a keeper.
