Stylist for the day

Today I travelled down to a quiet little woodland area in the New Forest to style for a Photoshoot for a third year Commercial Photography Student. We have been planning it for quite a while, already having a nice little day of shopping for clothes (even though they weren't for me it was still exciting :( ) Unfortunately the weather wasn't particularly great, so we were walking through what felt like Marshlands for a fair amount of the day, but the mood created by the rain and dark clouds actually worked really well for the shoot! I won't blabber on for ages like I tend to as I think the photographs will pretty much speak for themselves when you see the final results, but here is a few behind the scenes shots to give you a little peak at the outfits I created! Military Brat

I hadn't created an outfit on ASOS Fashion Finder in ages so thought i'd take a couple of minutes to create this quick one the other day as it is an outfit that I am determined to get my hands on for myself! I am loving the military tr at the moment, being drawn to all things khaki. I've seen a few of this style of jackets about and I reallllllyyyyy want one. Luckily River Island has recently bought out this version used in the board below which means EMPLOYEE DISCOUT =D! I'm waiting to get my next pay check then this baby is going to be mine. Every girl needs a new coat for the colder months, don't they? It's a basic human right to be warm....and you might as well look good at the same time? Hope you like the outfit board :) x

tie dye love

So i've got a bit of a new obsession. My last one was for the pastel trend and I've recently discovered i'm a bit of a secret rock chick and and am loving the studs that are everywhere at the moment. So when the two are mixed together and the word 'vintage' is added i'm a sucker! I've recently come across the brand The Ragged Priest and their stuff is incrediiibblllee! Their clothes are starting to clog up my Pinterest wish list! I am particularly lusting after a pair of the vintage tie dye Levi shorts and the oversized denim shirts, think I may have to treat myself this week for working so hard for 6 weeks on my internship....I think that's acceptable, don't you? xxx
